About the Author
Dr. Arun Ranjan Mishra (1959) is a known Oriya poet with eight collections of post-modern Oriya poems to his credit. After working as a Research Fellow and subsequently as a Research Associate in the Centre of Advanced Study in Sanskrit, University of Pune (Maharashtra) from 1983 to 1990, he is now a Reader in Deptt of Sanskrit, Pali Prakrit, Visva-Bharati Santiniketan (W.B). His book Contemporary Sanskrit writings in Orissa (2006) published by the present publisher has earned accolades from the Indological readers. Classical Sanskrit, Modern Sanskrit, Indian Aesthetics and Poetics and Indian Logic are his fields of academic interest.
