About The Book
The present volume entitled “Facets of Iridology” is in commemoration of Mahamahopadhyaya Pandit Damodar Mohapatra Sastri, an illustrious and erudite philosopher of Orissa. This volume contains reminiscences and poetic compositions to pay their tribute to esteemed Mm. Pt. Damodar Mohapatra Sastri.
The research articles numbering 56 cover a vast area of current Sanskrit researches in different branches of Sanskrit viz. Veda & Vedic studies, Grammar, Linguistics, Indian philosophy, Religion, Epics and Puranas, Indian culture, Sanskrit literature, literary criticism, Sanskrit and Science, Ayurveda, Information Technology, Manuscriptology, and Jainism.

About the Author
Dr. Subash Chandra Dash, double Gold medalist from Poona University, a Researcher, creative Writer, both in Oriya and Sanskrit has worked extensively on Nyaya Philosophy, Indian philosophy, Literature, Pali and Buddhism, Manuscriptology, Religion and Indian culture.
He served in institutions like-Vaidik Samsodhan Mandal, CASS and Deccan College, Pune. He has presented fifty Research papers at National and International conferences.
He has authored six books and has presently working as a Sr. Lecturer in the Department of Sanskrit, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Orissa.
